About me
“Do what you love. Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw it still.” – Henry David ThoreauOn Claude Denjean’s 1971 labor of inspired insanity, “Moog! Claude Denjean and the Moog Synthesizer”, he took a large, ungainly beast of an electronic musical instrument better known for providing aural atmospherics in science fiction and horror films of the 1950s and 1960s, and flipped the popular music of the time on its ass. Sure, there were bands like Fifty Foot Hose who explored that territory a couple years previously, but Denjean single-handedly, one sound at a time, opened up aspiring studio dorks’ ears to an entirely new musical world covering well-known songs in a two to five minute time frame. The Space Lady approved.
